He served 6 years in the Navy, got out, the was recalled to active duty and sent to Iraq with a Marine Force Re-con unit as a corpsman and a gunner. It wasn't until I watched Stop Loss, and found this site that I realized just how tough it was. I know that sounds naive, but he never let me in on anything and said all was well. When he came home he was a completely different person and we went through the last 2 years in hell. I commend you and every other soldier and spouse for their dedication. It's a hard life.
