Private said: Im station in fort campbell,i just got to this unit 5 months ago.when i was assigned to my brigade 2 weeks later,i come to find out the Brigade im assigned to was already deployed.i was happy/dissappointed i wasnt able to be sent overseas.The unit is deploying again later on next year,Meaning im going to be in afghanistan for a 8 months and my stop-loss begins.That doesnt bother me.Coming back and Having Surprise orders to deploy Once again Scares me.What i would do about my Wife not seeing me for another year.I don't know yet. It Angers me how i didnt see HOW MUCH CONTROL the Army could have over my life When i signed the dotted line.
