How did the soldiers you interviewed cope with being stop-lossed?

anon: I can definitely see why. But do soldiers feel comfortable serving next to a soldier serving again as the result of a Stop-Loss clause? Is the fact that there was once a voluntary act to sign on sufficient to feel confident in that person if they no longer want to be there? Or is that something soldiers just don't allow themselves to think about?

jai: Not wanting to go back to war does not make anyone a coward.... they signed on for a particular tour of ACTIVE duty, and then time in the INACTIVE reserves..... this is nothing more than a draft, without calling the numbers of those who choose not to volunteer. A draft is the only fair way to take people to fight what is an un-winnable war! We only had to serve one tour in Vietnam... volunteer or ...

anon: wow, even as soldier yourself you should never go against other soldiers calling them cowards and things of that nature some "true" solider you are calling anyone who serves in the military criminals. Aparently you don't know what a real criminal is.
