Suzanne: First, thank you for your service to our country. My son fulfilled his duty. The Army simply changed his separation date from August 8, 2007 to March 9, 2009. They didn't call it "stop loss". They simply changed the date. That is a key term of the contract and an amendment must be signed with all key/material changes to a contract. Its simple contract law.
